In August PTC employees were honored to be apart of the United Way Days of Caring event by volunteering at the non-profit organization, South Central Industries. SCI provides vocational training and employment opportunities for developmentally challenged individuals in a caring and nurturing environment. Several PTC employees spent time painting the clients training and work area as well as their cafeteria. Some PTC employees were also able to clean up the vehicles that South Central Industries uses to provide free transportation to their clients. In addition to working at South Central Industries employees spent time at the Big Brothers Big Sisters After School Party held at the YMCA in Shawnee. Over 100 kids were entertained with games and prizes for everyone.
PTC is proud to report that just over $5,000 in school supplies have been delivered to Earlsboro, Bowlegs and Sasakwa schools. Thank you to all of the administrators and teachers at our local schools!
